2014 Harborfest

Category : 2014 News

We couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful Sunday afternoon to ID over 100 children and adults at the annual Port Washington Harborfest. Every year, Freemasons around the state of NY create free ID’s for 1000 of people. These ID’s are only used in case of a missing person and is tied into the Amber Alert System. There is no cost to anyone but the lodges creating the ID’s. It’s a great charitable event and once again a huge success for Paumanok – Port Washington Lodge #855.

We also dug out our famous masons sign along with a classic, we showed support for our fallen servicemen and women.

2014 Festive Board

Category : 2014 News

As a last hurrah for the 2013-2014 Masonic year, PPW #855 hosted a very successful Festive Board. There were over 60 in attendance with representation from just about every lodge in the district. A great time was had by all.
We also honored our years of service recipients and especially the R.W. Larry Tuck. Bro. Larry has been a Mason for 25 years and served 21 of them as treasurer. He was honored with the dedication of one of the Officers chairs which will forever be emblazoned with his name. Congrats Bro. Larry.
