In keeping with the spirit of charity and brotherly love, the brothers of Paumanok – Port Washington Lodge #855 agreed without hesitation, to donate $250 to Soldier’s Angels,
“a volunteer-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing aid and comfort to the men and women of the United States Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard, and their families. Founded in 2003 by the mother of two American soldiers, its hundreds of thousands of Angel volunteers assist veterans, wounded and deployed personnel and their families in a variety of unique and effective ways.”

The brothers also agreed to donate an additional $250 to the Sunrise Day Camp.
“Sunrise Day Camp, for children ages 3-16, is the only dedicated day camp in the nation for children with cancer. It is a camp designed to meet the emotional, social, recreational and physical needs of these children while allowing them to enjoy the comforts and safety of their own homes at night.”
